Chaplaincy

Our Chaplain

The role of the Chaplain is inherent in the vision and Mission Statement of the school: to support and develop the spiritual life and Gospel values of the school community.

Mrs Nelle Dalton is in school three days per week and works closely with the RE Department and other members of staff to facilitate many of the aspects of the school's spiritual life - daily prayer, whole school Mass, CAFOD Youth Leadership, Social Justice Club, annual retreats and more.  The Chaplaincy is a very friendly place and girls receive a warm welcome there whenever Mrs Dalton is in school.

The Chapel

The Chapel is a beautiful, purpose-built building which can accommodate the entire school for Mass, Services, Assemblies and other events such as Prize Giving. The Chapel is always open during school hours and students are welcome to visit it at any time.  The architect was Sir Adrian Gilbert Scott and the Chapel was completed and opened in 1932 when it was dedicated to the Sacred Heart.
