Library lessons are held in the Library as part of the English curriculum
during years 7 and 8. During these lessons students are encouraged to read
fiction.
A short course of library induction lessons is held in the Library during
year 7 to ensure that the students are confident in the use of the Library and
are able to find the resources they need. These lessons introduce the students
to the layout of the Library and teach them how to use the computerised library
catalogue.
