The Jacqueline Thomas Competition Prize 2011

Open to all members of Years 7 to 10

Entries are invited for the Jacqueline Thomas Competition Prize. The winner will receive her prize at Prize Giving on Friday 11 November 2011.

Girls in Years 7 - 10 are invited to submit a piece of work that best reflects the theme of summer and will be entitled 'Summer Reflections'.  This could be either an interpretation of the season at home or abroad, or based on personal experiences of the summer.  The work can be in any medium.  Some examples are below:

  • A piece of creative writing such as prose or poetry
  • A work of art, photography or product design
  • A recorded musical composition or performance
  • A DVD recording of a piece of drama or dance

Completed entries should be given to Mrs Dales by Friday 16 September 2011 (NB - date has been extended), clearly marked with name and form (for academic year 2010-2011).
