There are many opportunities for prayer at Farnborough Hill
including:
Mass
- held in Chapel on school feast days and Holy Days of Obligation - see
Diary
for details.
Daily Act of Worship
- students and teachers pray together in their forms at the start of each school day.
Assembly
- on Mondays for the whole school; on Thursdays Upper School (years 10 - 13) and Lower School (years 7 - 9) have separate assemblies, often led by groups of students.
Morning Prayer for Staff
- Friday mornings before school in the Prayer Room
Sixth Form Retreats -
LVI during the Autumn Term; UVI during the Easter term.
Retreat Week
- each year group (years 7 - 11) is off timetable for one day.
Rosary
- a decade each day at break-time in the Prayer Room during the months of October and May. Each form is assigned one day to say their decade of the Rosary during this time.
Reconciliation
- Fr Tony comes into school once a month to offer the Sacrament of Reconciliation to Catholics or just for a chat with any student who wishes to speak to him. He also comes into school for an hour a day for two days before the end of the Christmas and Easter terms.
