"One of the best things about the Sixth Form at Farnborough Hill is
that on top of all the excellent facilities such as the beautiful
library, the science labs and D1 (the new drama space), there are some
places reserved especially for us!"
Flats
These top students are housed on the upper floors of Farnborough Hill's Grade One listed buildings in the 'flats', a series of study rooms for small groups of students where they work and spend their free time.
"These are our own little private refuges, whether we just want to
chill and chat with friends or get some hardcore work done, the flats
are the place to be!"
Sixth Form Suite
Sixth Form teaching takes place in the modern seminar rooms of the
newly-refurbished Sixth Form Suite in the Old House, which nevertheless
retains the building's Victorian charm.
Common Room
The Sixth Form have recently been privileged with a new joint lower and
upper sixth space comprising comfy leather sofas, table football
machine, computer and a flat screen tv. A café style kitchen is
adjacent to the Common Room and allows the students to make their own
cappucinos and paninis.
"The common room has only been a part of our lives for a year, but already we can't imagine life without it!"
