The Times of the School Day 

Morning Registration - 8.45 am
End of School Day - 4.00 pm
After-School Prep - 4.15 - 6.00 pm (voluntary)

Girls are expected to be in their Form Rooms at 8.45 am for registration. If a girl is late coming to school she should go to the School Secretary's office to be marked present.

The Timetable

  • Registration is at 8.45 am each morning and at the beginning of Period 5 each afternoon. 
  • Morning Break is from 10.25 am on Monday, Thursday and Friday and is at 10.40 until 11.00 am on Tuesday and Wednesday..
  • Lunch is from 12.50 until 1.50 pm on Monday, Thursday and Friday and from 12.55 until 1.55 pm on Tuesday and Wednesday.
  • 5 minutes is allowed between each lesson as movement time and to ensure a prompt start.

SECOND HAND UNIFORM

Matron runs a second-hand uniform shop which girls may visit before school and during their morning or lunch break. Second-hand uniform in the current style, clean and in good condition is accepted for sale including blazers, outdoor coats, school skirts, games skirts, school jumpers, sweatshirts, shorts and joggers. Uniform is accepted on a sale or return basis and held for one year only. A commission of 20% on the sale price is retained by the school. All uniform must be paid for on the day of purchase. Cheques should be made payable to The Farnborough Hill Trust. Cash is also accepted.

SCHOOL LUNCHES

School lunches are prepared on-site and served in our dedicated Refectory.  A variety of hot and cold options are served every day with an emphasis on healthy eating.
