EVENING ON THE HILL

The Evening on the Hill (pictured below), organised by the Friends of Farnborough Hill, took place on Saturday 13 June, and was a fantastic event.Mrs Phillips reports:
Once again, the Swing Band and the Jazz Quartet set the mood for a merry evening which began in glorious sunshine…..a few drops of rain didn’t dampen the spirits of the players or the singers (though Anna Jones 9A, Izzy Edmondson L6 and Lizzie Nash L6 did get the wettest!) Neither did it cool the enthusiasm of the ‘campers’ who were having a great time eating burgers and listening to our bands and the Paul Smith Jazz Quartet before being amazed by the fireworks. What a lot of hard work goes into organising this evening –the Friends of Farnborough Hill went flat out to make the evening a huge success. They are stars!
