YEAR LITURGIES BEGIN AT FARNBOROUGH HILL

The first of our newly introduced “Year Liturgies” took place on Friday 29th January with Year 10. The students had planned, prepared and resourced their own Liturgy and celebrated with two songs sung by small groups, a beautiful dance, interactive prayers and a moving poem. The theme was Love and Light and the picture shows the altar decorated with candles, cloths and hearts.The students arranged and celebrated a very moving Liturgy which was attended by Mrs Buckle, the Year 10 Form Tutors, the Year 10 Head of Year, Miss Gibson, the Chaplain and all the Year 10 girls. It was a wonderful start to this addition to the school’s liturgical programme and has set a high standard for the other year groups to follow.
